Good morning Beautiful Bikers! I just wanted to give a special shout to all of you who are taking your time in learning how to ride. I love reading your posts about your process, and how you’re building your confidence. We can all remember our first moments on ground… mine started with figure eights in a parking lot, and then a ride around the neighborhood. I can remember my sis Federal taking me for my first ride on the 10 fwy at night, going 55 mph, thinking I was flying. I was nervous and tense, but determined. I remember the first time I tried to follow a group of bikers, and got left, because they simply moved too fast for me. But, I kept riding at my pace, one mile at a time.
I encourage you to keep going. Go at your pace. Just like in life, folks will want to push you to travel at their speed or in their direction. Listen to your intuition, and let God lead you. Twist your own throttle, and you’ll never go wrong. Eventually, you’ll begin to push your own limits and expand your boundaries. Your distances will get farther, and you’ll go from up the street, to the next county, to the next state. I’ve currently got my sights set on the next country. Yes, there’s levels to this, but everyone has the capacity to level up. May God bless and keep you, whatever your journey is this weekend. Ride Free!
