Babes Ride Out annual ladies motorcycle ride and campout held their Central Coast event on September 17 – 19, in Santa Barbara, CA. Founders Anya and Ashmore put together this gathering of girls and motorcycles. It’s a 2 day event, packed with rides, vendors, food, camping, music and more! Black Girls Ride made the ride from Long Beach, CA and met up with over 400 female riders. Each year, riders travel from as far as Canada to attend this all female camp out.
Friday evening, Black Girls Ride hosted our Long Distance Rider Prep Workshop, full of tips and tricks to help riders prepare to go the distance. Next up, Campers took their turns on the mic for Karaoke night. Food trucks and vendors were on hand with great options from vegan to burgers and tacos. The Real Deal Bike Show gave riders an opportunity to showcase their custom bikes, and Goldie 2.o made an appearance.
Saturday morning meant time to ride! Riders could choose from 6 routes in the Santa Barbara mountains, along the coast, through Solvang to see various central coast sites. Campers grabbed their favorite riding buddies and hit the road, curating their own experience.
Once the sun went down, DJ Porsche Taylor and DJ Rye Toast joined forces to rock the epic Saturday Night dance party! Check out a few of our favorite shots below!
