“Growing up with Sickle Cell Anemia I was always told I couldn’t do a lot of things and through life, I’ve always carried that mentality. Until 3 years ago when I decided I wasn’t going to let anything keep me from what I always wanted to do… ride.
My love for motorcycles started when I was a little girl. I would always get on the back of my dad’s bike every chance I could. I enjoyed riding with him and hoped I could join one day; glad I took that plunge.
Riding gives me that sense of freedom and control over my journey. It’s my escape from many things and I’m so happy I didn’t wait any longer. I look forward to being able to ride side by side with my dad, the one that inspired me to hop on 2 wheels and go!”
