“I consider myself a late bloomer and lived the majority of my adult life as a people pleaser – not a Carolyn pleaser.
When I was approaching 50, every molecule of my being said if not now then when? So I bought my first bike – a Ninja 300 – for my 50th birthday!
One year later, I did my first track day and I crashed my bike and broke my scapula (shoulder bone). No joke – I laughed and giggled the entire time with the EMT and doctors as they patched me up. They initially thought I was in shock but actually, I just couldn’t contain my excitement.
My motorcycle has opened the door for me to try countless other adventures and to think about what makes me happy. Another big birthday is approaching and my gift to me is a bigger bike for hopefully bigger adventures.”
