“For several years, I’ve been struggling with my mental health. I needed an outlet, like a release of some kind. A way to move past the pain that had me frozen in place.
My husband had been riding since he was in his teens and suggested I give it a try. After failing the first class I bought my first bike, a Kawasaki Ninja 250, and then spent some time learning from my husband.
Eventually, I did pass the second class with no problem. I concluded that this was the release I have always been looking for. It’s a confidence-builder and meditative.
Riding makes me feel…ALIVE. It takes away whatever is occupying my mind. I have learned patience and to be in the moment.”
