I wanted to ride a sportbike when I was younger, but later I dated a guy who was in a club and he introduced me to cruisers.
I purchased my bike before I knew how to ride. My girlfriend who rode told me about the safety course, so I took the test and failed the first time. I got my permit after I failed and put 5k miles on my bike in 3 months riding everywhere to build up my skills. I took the test again and passed!
