“What inspired me to start riding was Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach!! My girlfriend is from NC and she ALWAYS talked about Bike Week, Bike Week, Bike Week!!
And I’m like, “I can’t be away from my family for a week” but she convinced me to go for the weekend. AND MAAAAAN WHEN I TELL YOU I FELL IN LOOOOOVE…I FELL HARD!!!
I saw little women, tall women, short women, big women I just saw WOMEN on the MOST BEAUTIFUL BIKES!!! Sports bikes, Harleys, cruisers, fatback tires, long swooping saddlebags…I MEAN THESE WERE THE BADDEST WOMEN TO MEEEE!!
I said to myself self you’re a bad woman but you need to get badder!!! On the way home I registered for bike class, bought a bike before the class even started and it’s been ON from there!!!
My safety tip is never ride faster than your angel can fly. Ride YOUR ride and not how someone else expects you to ride.
