“I’ve been riding for 14 years now. The “Riding Bug” bit me in June 2007.
One of my proudest moments would be riding my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R to Jacksonville, FL for my 1st All Female Ride – 24 hours straight and rode 1,024 miles
Over time I learned I love to do solo rides. After the passing of my mom in 2015, everything about me changed.
My riding took on a different vibe for me, it became my PEACE, my escape from feeling the pain of losing my mother.
Although I love to ride solo there’s a couple of things I do to make sure I’m still safe.
👉🏾I have an app on my phone, with two people tracking my movement in real-time.
👉🏾I wear a neon yellow color riding jacket.
👉🏾I carry with me a card that contains my emergency contact, blood type, the code to unlock my phone, copies of my insurance.
On a final note. The GREATEST feeling ever for me is when I get those inbox messages of how my journey has given other female and male riders the courage to step out of their comfort zone.
Don’t Disturb My Groove – I’m Good and LIVING Great.”
